Goals are coming - Gritton

On-loan Torquay striker Martin Gritton believes he isn't far from breaking his goalscoring duck this season. Gritton, who is on-loan from Chesterfield, struggled with injury at the start of the campaign and has yet to score for the Gulls, although he believes a goal is just around the corner. "I've been close to scoring a couple of goals, definitely at Stevenage last week," he told the Herald Express. "It's always frustrating when you have spells like this. "I may be a bit rusty in front of goal at the moment, but I don't think I'm far away and I would rather be fighting for my place and for a goal in a team that's near the top of the league than in the reserves at Chesterfield. "When you're in form, the ball always seems to come to you in the right places at the right time."
