Errors costly for Buckle

Paul Buckle was left counting the cost of two defensive errors which cost Torquay two points against Hereford at Edgar Street. Buckle's men twice led with goals from Eunan O'Kane and Elliot Benyon, but two defensive mistakes let in Hereford who fought back with strikes from Stuart Fleetwood and Mathieu Manset. "We made two mistakes and it was two goals for Hereford and I think they will be quite happy with their day's work because I thought we were the better team," Buckle said. "We controlled the game for long spells, got ourselves in front and were on target for the majority of the first half. "But we gave Hereford a lifeline with an error which was a bit of confusion between Mark Ellis and Scott Bevan in goal. "I said to the players at half-time that football was a team game and we got Mark and Scott out of trouble by going back in the lead, but to do it twice in a game you very rarely win it."
