Duo hope to be fit

Martin Gritton and Guy Branston are hoping to shake off their respective injuries ahead of Torquay's home game against Bradford. Gritton has missed the Gulls' opening two fixtures with a gashed knee and faces a fitness test on Friday. If he fails to make the squad, manager Paul Buckle is expected to keep faith with Elliot Benyon and Billy Kee in attack. Veteran centre-half Branston is also doubtful after he was forced off in last weekend's victory at Lincoln. Branston has rested for most of the week and a decision on his participation will also be made on Friday, with Kieran Charnock in line to deputise if necessary. United have no further injury worries as they look to maintain their 100% start to the npower League Two season.
