Clean bill of health for Buckle

17 December 2010 15:53
Torquay manager Paul Buckle has no new injury or suspension worries ahead of the clash with Rotherham. Striker Billy Kee strengthened his claim for a starting role against the Millers after scoring a second-half hat-trick for the Gulls' reserves against Swindon. Fellow strikers Martin Gritton and Lloyd Macklin will be competing for a starting place after also netting on reserve duty in midweek. Midfielder Damon Lathrope made a big step to try and force himself back into first-team reckoning following ankle ligament damage after playing for the reserves, as did defender Danny Senda who featured on his return from a hamstring injury. Both players could return to Buckle's squad as Torquay look to consolidate their place in the League Two play-off places.
