Buckle rues dropped points
Torquay boss Paul Buckle felt his side did enough to claim all three points after the 1-1 draw with Southend.
Billy Kee put the Gulls ahead before Barry Corr levelled nine minutes from time to give the Shrimpers a point.
Buckle said: "I think we deserved to win the game on play, shots and what have you.
"We finished the stronger, the last six minutes of stoppage time was all us. The boys showed great fitness levels.
"The philosophy of the team with the team we have now got is to go for wins, home or away, and that's what we will do whoever and wherever we play."
