Buckle revels in victory

Boss Paul Buckle did not play down Torquay`s FA Cup victory over Walsall, despite the Saddlers` lowly position in League One. The Gulls, sixth in the bottom tier, beat the team rooted to the foot of the division above thanks to a 41st-minute penalty from Billy Kee. "It was a tough game against League One opposition, who more than played their part in the game," said Buckle. "On reflection we had some very good chances, but one was enough in the end. "It`s a giant-killing because the majority of my players have just come out of non-League and they have been with me for a while, so there was a gulf in the divisions the two sets of players have been playing in. "We were under no illusions that we were playing against a good League One team. I know they are down the wrong end of the table at the moment but they showed their quality and at times we withstood a lot of pressure from them, albeit high balls into the box."
