Buckle refuses to panic amid slump

Torquay boss Paul Buckle has indicated he will not be intensifying the Gulls' defensive training despite conceding 12 goals in their last five games in the midst of an eight-match winless streak. The Devon club`s current loss of form has seen them slip to 11th in League Two after starting the season with four consecutive victories. United travel to Gillingham on Saturday and Buckle believes it is just a matter of time before that elusive win comes their way. "We're not going to start doing loads of defending," he said. "Even when we weren't scoring goals for a few games, we didn't go mad on attacking. "Players don't need telling that we've got to cut out the individual errors that are costing us at the moment. But we're competing well in every game we play. "I think we've hit the woodwork 14 times this season, which shows that we're not far away."
