Buckle happy to play waiting game

Torquay boss Paul Buckle is in no rush add to his squad ahead of the new season. The Gulls boss is currently looking to bring in at least one forward after missing out on the signature of Scott Rendell, who opted to join League Two rivals Wycombe, despite enjoying a successful loan spell at Plainmoor last season. Buckle told the Herald Express: "There's no need to be under pressure and to dive in at this stage. There's a lot of players who may be surplus to requirements at their clubs, but who go back for pre-season hoping they can still make an impact. "There will be quite a few players who will be available and looking for a move." The Gulls host neighbours Plymouth, in their latest pre-season fixture, on Tuesday night.
