Buckle beaming after late show
Torquay manager Paul Buckle hailed his players' second-half performance after they rallied to see off Stevenage 2-0.
Danny Stevens fired in a 46th-minute goal and engineered a late second for Jake Robinson. Chris Zebroski missed a 68th-minute penalty after being fouled in the box by Mark Roberts, who was sent off.
Buckle said: "That's got to be up there as one of the best second-half performances of the season.
"From the start of the game we wanted to try and pass the ball. We knew Stevenage would come and play a certain way and we had to cope with that. They are a big, strong team and when you see them walk out in the tunnel you know you are in for a physical match.
"I thought in the end they struggled to contain us, and when you`ve got people like Danny Stevens, Jake Robinson and Chris Zebroski running at you, it made it very difficult for them.
"I thought Eunan O'Kane played well and Ben Pringle had a very good debut. I have been pushing Danny Stevens all season to keep having a go like that and it was a fantastic goal. We knew it was a big game, a six-pointer, and the players did ever so well."
