Buckle basks in play-off glory

Boss Paul Buckle hailed an "incredible achievement" after Torquay secured a League Two play-off place despite falling to a 3-1 defeat at Rotherham. The Gulls went into the game knowing victory would secure their place in the season finale, but they were unable to claim that as Andy Scott secured his first win in the Millers' hot-seat. On the day, goals from Jason Taylor, Danny Harrison and Oliver Banks overshadowed Chris Zebroski's effort as Rotherham claimed the points. However, it mattered little as champions Chesterfield's 3-1 victory over Gillingham ensured Torquay the final play-off place, much to Buckle's delight. "Because of the nerves we struggled to get our game going," he said. "But it's an incredible achievement because in four seasons as manager of the club we have been in the play-offs three times. "I cannot ask for more than that can I? If we get into League One, it will be a miracle."
