Relegation-threatened Burton overturned a two-goal deficit and then surrendered the lead in a six-goal thriller against promotion hopefuls Torquay which ended 3-3 at the Pirelli Stadium. Torquay made a flying start and appeared to have the game under control with two goals inside the first 14 minutes. Burton skipper John McGrath was left red faced when Chris Zebroski slid the ball off his toe to score from six yards before Gavin Tomlin finished off a slick passing move from a little further out. McGrath made amends for his mistake by reviving his side with a spectacular 25-yard strike in the 26th minute. And Greg Pearson popped up at the far post to level the scores from a Jacques Maghoma cross four minutes before the break. Burton continued where they left off in the first half when Calvin Zola put them in front with a powerful header from Russell Penn's cross in the 56th minute. But Torquay hit back with a superb 20-yard finish from substitute Billy Kee in the 73rd minute.
