Bianchi content with Torino

Striker Rolando Bianchi has hit out at former club Lazio, having completed a move to Torino from Manchester City.

The 25-year-old scored four times in 15 appearances while on loan with Lazio in the second half of last season and expected to make the move permanent in the summer.

However, Bianchi has now penned a five-year deal with Torino and is looking forward to the new challenge, having been linked with the club before he joined Lazio at the start of the year.

He said: "What happened in January? I did not turn my back on Torino.

"Quite simply, Lazio seemed to offer me more guarantees of making the move permanent at the end of the season.

"Everyone saw the way it ended, as president Claudio Lotito broke the promise he had made. It's in the past now and all that counts for me is Torino."
