Amoruso aims fire at Foschi

Veteran striker Nicola Amoruso has blasted Torino's director of sport Rino Foschi after leaving Turin to join Serie A rivals Siena.

The 34-year-old has only joined Torino at the start of the season, but Foschi suggested that Amoruso had to leave after falling out with club colleagues.

An angry Amoruso responded by saying: "I did not want to go away. Rino Foschi says otherwise. It's ridiculous.

"I never asked to be sold, but at the same time I expected to be able to leave. I now only want set the story straight.

"I never argued with anyone. I always have respect for everyone. You ask my team-mates if it is not true.

"If Foschi said those things it's because he chose the most ridiculous way possible to justify himself in front of the Torino fans."
