Former French international Didier Six will be officially confirmed as Togo coach in the coming days, the Togolese Football Federation (FTF) president, Gabriel Ameyi, said on Sunday.
"Didier Six is going to be named coach of the national team in the next few days," said Ameyi.
"The contract will be signed quickly because the qualifiers for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations get underway at the end of February and we need to have a coach."
Six, 57, took charge of Togo on an interim basis in November, steering the team past Guinea Bissau in the preliminary round of qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.
