Haworth causes concern for Lambs

Tamworth midfielder Andy Haworth could miss the FA Cup second-round clash with Bristol City after picking up an injury on his debut last weekend.

Haworth is receiving treatment for a hamstring strain at parent club Notts County, making him a major doubt for the cup tie.

Lambs boss Dale Belford is also sweating on the fitness of Lee Hildreth (calf) and Richard Peniket (dead leg).

Belford will definitely be without Ryan Croasdale and Charlie Allen, who have returned to Preston and Gillingham respectively.

Bristol City's new manager Steve Cotterill will be without defender Karleigh Osborne.

The on-loan Millwall man will serve the first game of a three-match ban for his part in the fracas that saw two players sent off at Deepdale on Saturday as the Robins were beaten 1-0.

City were unchanged for that Preston loss with Jordan Wynter replacing Marvin Elliott on the bench and it remains to be seen whether Cotterill, unveiled as Sean O'Driscoll's successor on Tuesday, will make significant changes.

This televised cup tie is the first-ever meeting between the Robins and the Lambs.
