Tamworth have promised to make a number of new signings in the coming weeks, in preparation for life in the Nationwide Conference.
Manager Darron Gee has been forced to wait to enter the transfer market, as the Lambs worked out the available budget for the coming season, but that has now been settled.
Lambs general manager Russell told the Tamworth Herald. "We have been talking to three or four players of Conference or Football League experience and if we get them, they will be major assets.
"I am very excited by the players we are talking to and I can assure fans things are happening.
"They will have big smiles on their faces in the next few weeks."
