Watford striker Theo Robinson is set to sign for Swindon Town for a six-figure fee.
Robinson has been heavily sought after since a successful loan spell with Southend United in the second half of the 2008-09 season.
After scoring seven goals in 21 appearances for the Shrimpers, several clubs appeared to express an interest in taking the 20-year-old away from Vicarage Road.
Southend were keen to take the player back to Roots Hall but the club could not match bids from Brighton and Swindon.
BBC Wiltshire has reported that the Robins have won the race to land the forward.
A fee of over £100,000 is thought to have been agreed with the Hornets for Robinson, and he is expected to put pen to paper on the deal on his return from holiday.
Robinson has scored 23 goals in 73 appearances in his loan spells at Southend and Hereford United, but has only managed five run-outs for Watford.
