Timlin heads back to Town

Swindon Town have re-signed midfielder Michael Timlin on loan until the end of the season from Premier League Fulham.

The 22-year-old impressed at the County Ground last season and returns to Town after failing to break into the Cottagers first-team set-up this term.

Timlin told Swindon's official club website: "Things were a bit frustrating at Fulham.

"I played in a lot of the games under Lawrie Sanchez, went to the Far East on tour with them and played quite a bit.

"There was then a change of management and when Roy Hodgson came in it became clear that I would be allowed to move out on loan.

"Moving to Swindon in the summer has been spoken about. It's something I would certainly look at, but my immediate focus is doing well from now until the end of the season."
