Robins trio could make debuts
Dean Parrett, Nathan Byrne and Massimo Luongo could make their Swindon debuts against Oldham after arriving on loan from Tottenham until the end of the season.
The Robins will assess Jay McEveley's knee injury before the clash.
Manager Kevin MacDonald has said he wants the former Blackburn left-back to come through a training session before returning to action having missed the 0-0 draw with Notts County. Whether that is possible in time for the Latics clash remains to be seen.
And the former Aston Villa coach says he will not let the top-of-the-table clash with Doncaster on Monday alter his team selections against Lee Johnson's struggling side. But MacDonald could be without Tommy Miller, who is struggling with a dead leg.
One player who will not be involved is Troy Archibald-Henville who has not long returned to training after a knee injury and the play-offs, should Swindon need them, look set to be a realistic date for the former Exeter defender's comeback.
The Robins head into this match in second place in npower League One, five points behind Monday's opponents Doncaster.
Oldham welcome back striker Matt Smith for the trip.
Smith, the four-goal hero of Latics' run to the fifth round of this season's FA Cup, has not featured in the last two matches after suffering severe bruising to his knee in the 1-0 defeat to Tranmere but is now back in full training.
Bobby Reid is pushing for his Oldham debut having signed on loan from Bristol City earlier this week, while former Leeds and Swansea full-back Federico Bessone could feature against the club he left earlier this season after completing a move to Boundary Park on Thursday afternoon.
Boss Lee Johnson has also added rookie defenders Glenn Belezika and Joe Cooper to his travelling party. The duo impressed for the reserves against Hull in midweek.
A combination of postponements and their cup run means the County Ground clash will be the first of nine games in 30 days as Oldham look to secure League One safety.
