Swindon suffer double loss

Swindon Town have suffered a double injury blow with the news that Lee Peacock and Hasney Aljofree could be out of action for several months.

Aljofree has been sidelined since December with knee ligaments damage and it is unclear how long it will be before he can make a return to football.

And Peacock has undergone surgery twice this summer due to a niggling back problem.

Manager Danny Wilson confirmed he was unsure whether he will be able to recall either of them any time in the foreseeable future.

"I couldn't even put a date on it for you because we just don't know at the moment, it's disappointing," Wilson told BBC Radio Wiltshire.

"We'll just keep working with them the best that we can."

The Robins boss has received some good news on the injury front, as it was confirmed that summer addition Scott Cuthbert will be fit for the new campaign following a hernia operation.
