Swindon set Cox price-tag

Swindon Town have warned potential bidders that they will not settle for anything less than £1million for star striker Simon Cox.

The 21-year-old has scored 27 goals for the Robins this season, sparking talk of interest from a number of bigger clubs.

Robins chief executive Nick Watkins told BBC Radio Swindon: "The value of Simon is well over £1million. If a Premier League side was to make a sensible offer we'd have to consider it.

"There is always going to be speculation about someone of his talents playing in League One when he could play in the Premier League.

"There are no offers on the table at this stage, but there have been more scouts at the County Ground in the last few weeks than at a jamboree."
