Robins sign French defender

Swindon Town have completed the signing of free agent defender Patrick Noubissie until the end of the season.

Noubissie, 23, was on the books of Crewe earlier in the season and has signed for the Robins after his versatility impressed manager Paul Sturrock.

"Patrick has joined on a short-term contract until the end of the season," Sturrock told the club's official website.

"We had him watched during his time at Crewe in the reserves there and he is versatile.

"He can play at right-back, centre-back or in midfield. He has played in the French Premiership and he has come here to be competitive."
