Robins return for Cox

Swindon Town have received confirmation from the Premier League and Football League that they are able to bring Reading youngster Simon Cox back to the club.

The 20-year-old scored nine times in 21 appearances for the Robins during a loan spell at the County Ground earlier this season before returning to Reading last month.

Town's chief executive, Nick Watkins, told the club's official website: "We're delighted to have Simon on board on a permanent basis and we're pleased to confirm the deal has now been completed."

Meanwhile, Franklin Anzite has left the club by mutual consent.

The 22-year-old moved to the County Ground in the summer of 2007 but failed to make a first-team appearance for the club.
