Swindon Town expect Hasney Aljofree to be fit for the start of new season despite the skipper suffering a broken wrist.
Aljofree, 29, is likely to miss some of the club's pre-season tour to Austria following surgery on the wrist, but manager Maurice Malpas is confident he will be fit for the new campaign which gets underway on August 9.
"He went for a scan and lo and behold, it's come up broken," Malpas told the club's official website.
"He's had to have an operation on it and will be in a plaster so he might have to miss one or two games in Austria.
"There's no doubt that he'll be fit for the start of the season.
"He'll do all the pre-season training, but there will just be a question mark over whether he will be allowed to play when we go to Austria."
