Peacock flies Robins for Mariners
The injury-hit striker, 33, returned to action in October after almost 18 months on the sidelines but his involvement has been minimal due to the form of Charlie Austin and Billy Paynter. Peacock had made seven substitute appearances for the Robins and, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, he has opted for regular first-team football at Blundell Park. His deal with the Mariners runs until the end of next season but his primary focus will be on helping the club close the six-point gap that exists between themselves and safety at the foot of League Two.
