Nicolau woe for Robins

Swindon Town midfielder Nicky Nicolau faces well over a month on the sidelines as he requires an operation to fix a hernia.

The 22-year-old former Southend United left-sider has made only six appearances for the Robins this season, following his free transfer arrival from Roots Hall.

Town physio Dick Mackey told the club's official website: "He is going for a hernia repair next Wednesday.

"It is quite a straightforward operation but he should be back in training within four to five weeks."
