Nicholas told to change

Swindon Town boss Paul Sturrock has warned defender Andy Nicholas to change his ways after picking up a 20-month driving ban.

The 23-year-old was found guilty of drink-driving at Swindon Magistrates' Court in the week and Sturrock says Nicholas still has a future at the club as long as he learns his lesson.

He told the club's official website: "Andy has been to court where he received a ban and a fine. We have spoken and he will come under the internal discipline code we have in place.

"I am very disappointed in him and he has received a hefty fine from the courts as well as getting a hefty fine from us.

"Footballers have to take responsibility and he has let the side down, but hopefully we can move on.

"It won't prevent me from selecting him, but we are very disappointed in his actions."
