Swindon Town manager Maurice Malpas has revealed he is desperate to add some quality to his squad ahead of the start of the new season.
The Robins boss has yet to make a decision on the future of trialist former Blackpool defender John Hills and, speaking from the club's pre-season tour of Austria, has admitted there is still a need to bring fresh faces into the County Ground.
"We're still looking at bringing in a few players and that's something we need to do," he told the club's official website.
"If John Hills' fitness is up to scratch then we may involve him in a game next week.
"I'm acutely aware that our fans are after a few new signings and we're looking to do what we can.
"We need to add quality to the squad to give us a chance of getting Swindon Town in the mix at the end of the season."
