Injured Vincent still not ready

Swindon Town veteran Jamie Vincent's knee injury shows no sign of improving and the 33-year-old looks set for a further spell on the sidelines.

Vincent is yet to feature for the Robins so far this term after suffering with the complaint since pre-season.

Assistant boss Dave Byrne told the Evening Advertiser: "Jamie's trained and the diagnosis has been made, but there's still a slight problem in there.

"We're just trying to get to the bottom of it. It's a relief that he's back in training, but he came back and trained a couple of weeks ago and two days later it stiffened up and he was finding it very sore.

"Two days later the knee seems to become sore, regardless of whether he's playing or not playing, and that's what we need to try and get him past."
