Hart - We gave it a go
Swindon manager Paul Hart refused to criticise his players after their relegation to League Two was confirmed by a 3-1 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday.Former Portsmouth and Crystal Palace boss Hart was unable to prevent the Robins from the drop - just a year after they reached the play-off final - as Jonathan Douglas' stunning strike proved to be in vain.Hart said: "We're very disappointed with the result but I thought the way we played was excellent. I think we restricted Sheffield Wednesday's attempts on goal to about four and they scored three of them while we had double figures in terms of attempts but only scored one."We felt we had a chance to go on and win the game at half-time but soft goals cost us. Take away the soft goals and I thought we played ever so well. Nobody could accuse the players of not having a go."A lack of goalscoring personnel has been the problem. We've lost two goalscorers this season and not replaced them."
