Greer hints at Town extension

On-loan defender Gordon Greer could have his stay at the County Ground extended beyond the end of this month following two solid performances.

The 28-year-old centre-back has been encouraged by what he has seen since arriving from Doncaster on a one-month loan, playing his part in the 3-2 win over Walsall and a 0-0 draw with Oldham.

"You tend to look into the future," Greer admitted to the Swindon Advertiser.

"At the moment I've still got another few games this month, so there's still a lot of football to be played.

"But I'm sure come the end of the month something will be sorted out.

"I've missed a lot of football over the past year so I want to make up for it and play as many games as I can before the end of the season."
