Douglas boost for Robins
Published: 03 Sep 2010 - 10:00:37
Swindon captain Jonathan Douglas should be fit to face Carlisle on Saturday despite limping out Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie.The midfielder was forced off after just 22 minutes in the 3-0 win over Southampton due to tight hamstrings but has recovered sufficiently for the weekend clash.Swindon's midfield will also be boosted by the return of David Prutton following a one-match ban.Defender Alan Sheehan looks set to make his debut as he goes straight into the squad after joining on a one-year deal, following the termination of his contract with Leeds. The midweek win saw a number of players push their causes for a starting place when the Robins return to league action, with Michael Timlin, Simon Ferry and Callum Kennedy all impressing.
