Former Morecambe defender Chris Blackburn has left Swindon Town by mutual consent after spending only one season at the County Ground.
The 25-year-old made six starts for the Robins and was loaned out to Weymouth for the final two months of the campaign, helping the Blue Square Premier League side avoid relegation.
The former Chester City and Northwich Victoria player left Morecambe last summer after playing a key role in the Shrimps' promotion to League Two.
Town released Kaid Mohamed, Andy Nicholas and Sofiene Zaaboub earlier this month.
