Austin pens new Town deal

Swindon Town hot-shot Charlie Austin has signed a new two-and-a-half year deal with the high-flying League One side.

The former Poole Town striker has been in fantastic form for the Robins this term, notching ten times in 11 starts under manager Danny Wilson.

Wilson has taken advantage of a clause in Austin's contract, enabling the County Ground club to prolong his stay.

The forward's deal was due to expire in the summer and, despite speculation rising over his future, he has committed his long-term future to the club.
