Swindon Town are refusing to put a timescale on the return of Hasney Aljofree, but are "cautiously optimistic" over the defender's knee injury.
The Robins captain was stretchered off in the early stages of last weekend's 1-1 draw with Hartlepool United and has undergone preliminary scans on his injured knee.
"Initial findings of the scan suggest cautious optimism regarding Hasney's knee injury," physio Dick Mackey told the club's official website.
"A clinical assessment will now take place which should give us a greater understanding as to the extent of the injury.
"It would be unprofessional to try and put a timescale on his recovery until we have spoken to our consultant orthopaedic surgeon."
