Adams keen on Robins

MIdfielder Steve Adams has urged former manager Paul Sturrock to sign him for current club Swindon Town. Adams is soon to be out of contract at Sheffield Wednesday and is tempted by a move to the County Ground where he would be reunited with former Owls boss Sturrock. Sturrock left Hillsborough after two years in the hot-seat last season but guided the Robins to promotion in his first six months at the League Two club. "I have worked with Paul Sturrock at Plymouth and at Sheffield Wednesday and have been involved in some successful times with him," Adams told the Swindon Adveriser. "He has proved himself a very good manager and I would be delighted to get the chance to work with him again. "I have to say though at the moment I have not received any contact from him about going to Swindon. "One or two clubs have shown some interest, but I would welcome a call from him. "It would not bother me dropping back into League One from the Championship."
