Wilson - We're better now

Swindon manager Danny Wilson believes he has a better equipped squad heading into this season than he did 12 months ago. The Robins narrowly missed out on promotion to the Championship in 2009/10 and all the signals are there to suggest they could be in line for another promotion charge this time around. Although the likes of Billy Paynter and Gordon Greer have departed, Michael Rose, David Prutton, David Ball, Thomas Dossevi, Simon Ferry and Paul Caddis have all arrived to strengthen Town`s ranks. Wilson told the club's official website: "If you look at this time last year, we didn`t have the squad like we have this year to choose from. It was quite limited at this stage. "So we`ve got a little bit of flexibility in terms of how we approach the (Brighton) game, what formation we use, which personnel we use. "But I`m sure that whoever it is that starts in the 11 or even the boys on the bench, they`ll all be raring to go and they`ll all be ready and prepared for the game."
