Wilson wary of Saints

Swindon manager Danny Wilson has warned his players will have to raise their game on Saturday against a Southampton side who will be keen to prove their worth in what could be the first match in charge for potential new boss Nigel Adkins. Adkins has been given permission to talk to managerless Saints by current employers Scunthorpe and contract terms have already been agreed, leaving just the matter of compensation to be tied up ahead of the weekend clash at the County Ground. But despite the spotlight being focused on matters at St Mary`s, Wilson insists his squad will not be distracted. "What`s gone on at Southampton is crazy, but it`s not my place to go into it really - we just have to concentrate on beating them on Saturday," he told Town`s official website. "I expect them to have a new manager in place by Saturday, so their players will obviously be out to impress which means we`ll have to up our game even more. "But we`re coming off the back of two very good clean sheets and two good performances so I`m confident we can get a result."
