Wilson waiting on bids

Swindon boss Danny Wilson is waiting for responses after putting in bids for four unnamed players as he continues to reshape his squad for the new npower League One campaign. Celtic and Liverpool have been confirmed as two of the clubs Wilson has spoken to, but the Robins chief knows he may have to bide his time if he is to land his targets. "We've put bids in at clubs in three or four cases and are just waiting for the outcome," Wilson told the Swindon Advertiser. "They are a mixture of positions. "We need full-backs, we need strikers, we need midfield players and wide areas if we can get them. We're in the business for quite a few areas. "They (Celtic and Liverpool) are two of the clubs. But there are a couple of other clubs too who we are waiting on with other players. "We're not in a position to push anybody though. We have to be patient, but are hopeful of an answer soon."
