Wilson salutes Town after cracker

Danny Wilson had plenty of praise for his Swindon side after they drew 1-1 against Peterborough in what the Town boss felt was a positive advert for League One football. Charlie Austin's 10th league goal of the season from the penalty spot secured a point for the Robins after Matt Ritchie was brought down by Mark Little, cancelling out Posh`s well-worked first-half opener. Wilson said: "I thought it was a cracking game. From start to finish it was played by two good sides. "First half I think we rode our luck, they had a couple of good chances which Phil (Smith) saved very well. I thought we had some very good chances in our favour too which I thought we were unlucky not to score from. "We went in at half-time a goal down and disappointed with how we conceded. But I've said that a lot so far this season. Yet second half we were absolutely fantastic. I thought the commitment, the endeavour, the pace and the opportunities we created were absolutely top drawer." He added: "Overall, disappointment is the wrong word, but we're unfortunate we didn't go on to win the game. But saying that, the game could have been different if we took our chances in the first half."
