Wilson rues Rose loss
Danny Wilson was left to rue the dismissal of Michael Rose in Saturday`s desperately disappointing 1-0 home defeat to Yeovil.
The marauding left-back reacted to a tackle from Ed Upson by appearing to stamp on the Glovers midfielder, leading directly to his 57th-minute dismissal. And the visitors duly took advantage courtesy of Dean Bowditch`s effort shortly after, leaving Town just two points above the drop zone.
Wilson said: "From looking like winning the game, we got the sending off and it changed the game. The goal we`ve conceded is a very poor goal and that`s been our problem for a lot of this season. Concentration levels and the desire to get through periods of adversity have let us down this season. Obviously the extra man is going to tell as the game goes on.
"We question our position every time we lose a game and we`re there to get shot at. You`ve got to be big enough and strong enough to stand up to the criticism. We can turn it around in a week and we can lose it in a week.
"What we have to maintain, and it`s what is lacking at the moment, is some confidence. So a big win next week might just change that. It`s important we don`t whip ourselves too much and it was a sending off. Discipline should have been better in that instance.
"I didn't see the sending off, I was looking at something else. But from what I believe the referee said he stamped which is a sending off. The bottom line is we lost a man, and we lost momentum."
