Wilson in hunt for defenders

Danny Wilson will step up his bid to strengthen Swindon's fragile defence after seeing his team gift Bristol Rovers a 3-1 victory - their first win under new boss Dave Penney. A furious Wilson was scathing about the errors which cost his side dearly in a closely-fought derby clash. "It has been the story of our season and we have to do something about it," he said. "We definitely need new players, but the problem is finding the right ones available at a price we can afford. "It has to be done because we're not giving ourselves a chance in games. Offensively we're playing some very good football, but our decision-making at the back is costing us." Striker Charlie Austin was in the Swindon line-up despite plenty of transfer speculation, but Wilson insisted: "We don't have to sell Charlie to bring in new players. "As far as he is concerned, the situation is out of our hands. If the right offer comes in we will consider it, but that hasn't happened yet."
