Wilson: I can save Robins

05 February 2011 19:00
Swindon manager Danny Wilson declared himself confident of saving the club from relegation after they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Rochdale. Elliot Benyon found the net two minutes into injury time on his debut to salvage a point for the lowly Robins. The point lifted Swindon out of the drop zone but they looked to be heading for defeat after Craig Dawson opened the scoring in the 81st minute. Wilson has come under fire from the club's supporters but said: "I've said to you before we'll get through it and all of a sudden it's `sack Wilson' which I understand because I'm here to be criticised because of the results. "We believe we can turn this round asap. With a bit of a tweak in the squad in the coming weeks then we'll be okay."
