Wilson hopes win acts as catalyst

Swindon boss Danny Wilson has called on his side to push on after earning West Country bragging rights with a 2-1 victory over Bristol Rovers at the County Ground. Last season's beaten play-off finalists established a two-goal lead courtesy of Sean Morrison and Vincent Pericard, an advantage which proved enough to take the spoils despite Jeff Hughes` 92nd-minute penalty. The win moved Swindon to within two points of the play-off places after a stuttering opening to their campaign, and Wilson said: "It has been a difficult start to the season but hopefully this will give us the spark we need. "Rovers beat us twice last season and on both occasions by a big margin. That rankled with me and the players so we were determined to go out and put things right. We got our goals at good times, right on half-time and not long after the restart." Striker Charlie Austin was included on Town`s bench on what was a premature return from his dislocated shoulder sustained exactly a month ago to the day. And Wilson added: "We had no choice but to name Charlie as a substitute but he is still not really fit enough to play, and if results keep going our way and Vincent (Pericard) keeps performing like that we will not need to use him."
