The former Leeds goalkeeper joined on a two-year deal after being released by the Elland Road club. And Wilson believes the capture of the 31-year-old custodian demonstrates the ambition of chairman Andrew Fitton and the board. "It is great to get from the chairman and the board the backing to get this type of player, this calibre of player, into the club," he told the club's official website. "I think that it shows we mean business. "We really want to get the club going and get some momentum going and things like this gives everybody the belief that this can happen. "Hopefully there will be one or two more players coming in the next few weeks. It is exciting."
