Town facing reshuffle for cup test

Swindon have been granted permission for Matt Ritchie to feature in their FA Cup first-round clash at Plymouth but will have to wait to see whether fellow loanee David Ball is available. Wide man Ritchie has been cleared to feature by parent club Portsmouth but boss Danny Wilson is as yet uncertain whether Manchester City will give forward Ball the green light. But that is the least of Wilson`s problems as he looks to cope with a glut of injuries. Central midfielder Michael Timlin has been recalled early from his loan spell at Southend and will go straight into Town`s squad, countering the loss of Jonathan Douglas (toe) and Simon Ferry (ankle). Defenders Andy Frampton, Lecsinel Jean-Francois (both ankle) and Kevin Amankwaah (knee) also miss out, with full-back Alan Sheehan serving the final game of his three-match suspension. Goalkeeper David Lucas was dropped in favour of Phil Smith for Tuesday`s disappointing 3-0 defeat to Charlton and it remains to be seen who will get the nod at Home Park.
