Three points were imperative - Wilson

Swindon manager Danny Wilson was delighted to see his team secure back-to-back victories with a 2-1 triumph at Walsall. The Robins took the lead when Alan Sheehan's low cross-shot took a deflection and flew in. The hosts pushed forward and were rewarded with substitute Reuben Reid's leveller, only for Vincent Pericard to touch in Sheehan's shot for the winner 16 minutes from time. Wilson said: "We could have sewn it up in the first 20 minutes when we were so much on top, but three points were imperative to us. "Even when Walsall equalised I felt we could go on to win the game. They were throwing men forward and I thought we could hit them on the break, which we did." Wilson also praised the performance of matchwinner Pericard, adding: "It was an instinctive finish. He has worked very hard in games and he sometimes gets unfair criticism at times. It would have been a shame if he had come away from the game without a goal after his performance."
