Swindon defender Grant Hall could make a welcome return to the squad to face high-flying Brentford.

The Tottenham loanee has been sidelined for almost two months with a calf injury but he played in a midweek friendly for the club's development side and looks likely to be in contention on Saturday.

Fellow Spurs loanee Alex Pritchard returned from suspension as a half-time substitute in their 1-0 loss to Carlisle and made a real impact in the final 45 minutes and the midfielder will hope to be rewarded with a start.

Nathan Byrne is also pushing for a place in Mark Cooper's starting line-up but Ryan Mason, Ryan Harley and Nile Ranger will not feature again this season.

Brentford boss Mark Warburton should have an unchanged squad.

Winger Sam Saunders remains the only injury absentee and he has just completed a week at St George's Park to build up his fitness after knee surgery.

Warburton has rotated his squad throughout the promotion run-in and has the likes of Harlee Dean, Toumani Diagouraga and Marcello Trotta pushing for recalls following Tuesday night's 1-0 win over Crawley.

Full-back Alan McCormack and midfielder Jonathan Douglas will be lining up against their former club.
