Di Canio considering options Swindon manager Paolo Di Canio has a fully-fit squad to choose from and could shuffle his pack ahead of Bournemouth's visit to the County Ground. Di Canio could make a number of changes to the side that beat Portsmouth 2-1 in midweek, with defender Troy Archibald-Henville pushing for a start after recovering from injury. The boss must decide whether to stick with Nathan Thompson, who played at right-back on Tuesday, or bring Joe Devera back into the side. Left-back Federico Bessone is vying for a place in the starting line-up but may struggle to oust Jay McEveley from the side. Striker James Collins has returned to full fitness and played 38 first-half minutes on Tuesday. He looks set to battle it out with Paul Benson for the striker's berth on Saturday. Bournemouth midfielder Richard Hughes could make his return from injury. Hughes has made good progress in recent weeks and could be ready in time to feature in manager Paul Groves' squad. Groves could instead choose to stick with the midfield pairing of Marc Pugh and Charlie Daniels after both players impressed in the 2-2 draw against Brentford in midweek. On-loan striker Lee Barnard is close to returning to action but the match is expected to come too soon for the Southampton forward. The Cherries have no fresh injury concerns following the Brentford game but have a number of long-term absentees who will not recover in time for the trip. Charlie Sheringham (foot), Frank Demouge (knee), Stephen Purches (broken leg) and goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan all remain sidelined.
