Swindon sweating on Sheehan

Swindon manager Danny Wilson will give defender Alan Sheehan as much time as possible to declare himself fit for the trip to Charlton. The former Leicester and Leeds full-back was forced off after 70 minutes of the 2-1 defeat against Bournemouth and is a doubt for the trip to The Valley. Michael Rose, who replaced him for the final 20 minutes on Saturday, is the man likely to step in and fill the void if Sheehan does not recover in time. Jonathan Douglas will definitely miss out as he serves the final game of a three-match ban, but Wilson has no other new injury or suspension worries. Goalkeeper David Lucas could rejoin the squad following a knee injury but would have to settle for a place on the bench as the Robins look to return to winning ways following two defeats and a draw in the last three games.
